Tuesday's Grand Connection Thought

Who would have thought that this time last week a 7.3 earthquake would hit Haiti? As we've seen and heard, the devastation is unbelievable.
As grandparents, I think we have a great opportunity to help our grands pray for the people in Haiti and for the countless people around the world who are trying to help them. Depending on the age of our grands, we could also search the Bible together (in person, via the Internet, by phone) for various verses about how we can always trust God ... how He always ultimately works everything for good.
Psalm 91:2 says: "I will say to the Lord, "My refuge and my fortress, my God in whom I trust!"
And Romans 8:28 reminds us that "God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose."
As I've heard it said before, we don't always understand God's ways, but we can always trust His heart.
