It's good to hear from you, Linda! Last night I was looking at your book Inspire! Writing from the Soul. It's a great book!
Mary, In order for her children to remember stories about their relatives, my niece plays a game. She collects pictures of the family and when they gather for the holidays she will ask a question like this one, which is true. “Who asked her sister to catch her when she planned to slide down the slate roof on a blanket?” They will answer. “Was it aunt Pat asking aunt Rita to catch her?” Pat came down with lightning speed and we both ended up flat on the ground with Pat and quilt on top of me, my arms still outstretched ready to catch her. My niece works for weeks asking questions about the family her children barely knew.
Another. “Who was found on the altar at church and carried home by the priest?” When my mother was 5 years old, she found a Holy Card showing the Christ Child seated on the altar knocking on the Tabernacle door. -- Rita
